HOT ROCKS FROM SPACE
The next time you find one of those nasty hot rocks dont be too quick to toss it to the side. It could be a meteorite.
The majority of meteorites that most people know as shooting stars are composed of nickle-iron.
Now if you havent had the opportunity to test your detector on the real thing to see what kind of signal you receive let me tell you what I found mine to read. (I bought a meteorite a couple of years ago) On the Whites XLT it registers -95 on the meter with a full bar on the Signagraph.
As you may have heard, meteorites are selling at unbelievably high prices. The chances of finding a real meteorite is slim but so is finding gold coins!
